Season 3 “The White Lotus” concluded with more dead bodies and more viewers than ever.
6.2 million viewers tuned in to Sunday’s episode of the HBO drama, a 30% improvement on the previous series high of 4.8 viewers, which was set just the week before. These totals come from a combination of Nielsen’s measurement of viewers on HBO’s cable channel and Warner Bros. Discovery’s own data regarding streams on Max.
The series has seen strong viewership all throughout Season 3. It premiered on Feb. 16 with 2.4 million viewers, the show’s best over opening with a 57% increase over the Season 2 premiere, before increasing to 3.4 million with Episode 2 and staying even with Episode 4. HBO did not provide exact totals for Episodes 3 or 5, but reported that Episode 6 achieved a series high, hitting 4.2 million viewers and breaking the previous record of 4.1 million viewers held by the Season 2 finale. Then Episode 7 broke the record for a second week in a row with 4.8 million viewers before Episode 8’s final triumph.
