The Best, Hollywood-Favorite Knicks Merch to Wear This NBA Season

Forget Cannes. Some of the most high-wattage star power this week has been on the Madison Square Garden sidelines.

Since the NBA Playoffs kicked off earlier this month, celebrities such as Timothee Chalamet, Ben Stiller and Spike Lee have made MSG their home to cheer on their favorite team. Even in the case of Wednesday night’s game, which saw the Knicks suffer a historic and heartbreaking loss to the Indiana Pacers, Hollywood’s most ardent Knicks supporters still wore their orange and blue hearts on their sleeve.

Chalamet has brought his New York-bred streetwear style to the court this season. At the Eastern Conference Finals this week, he showed up in a special-edition Chrome Hearts pair of Timberland’s traditional wheat-colored boots, adorned with an orange and blue Chrome Hearts logo, paired alongside a pair of oversized bright orange jeans from the Hollywood-based luxury brand.

Of course, “The Complete Unknown Star” pairs these custom luxury items with more affordable merch, such as the classic orange New York Knicks cap and blue performance style hoodie.

Lee, meanwhile, brings his zany style to the court. Much of his sportswear are custom pieces, such as his favored bespoke bright orange frames by Morgenthal Frederics, which he often pairs alongside funky bucket hats and zip-up vests. The Brooklyn-raised director even brought his New York pride to Cannes this week, where he premiered his new Denzel Washington-led film “Highest 2 Lowest.” At the premiere, he walked the carpet in a custom pin-striped zoot suit from Cointel — in Knicks blue and orange, of course.

The Knicks are next set to play Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers tonight, Friday, May 23 at 8 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden. The game will be broadcast on TNT and stream on Max.

Following their dramatic Game 1 loss, where the Knicks surrendered a 14-point lead in the final minutes, the team is focused on bouncing back. Historically, the Knicks have shown resilience, holding a 4–0 record in the postseason following losses.
