SharkNinja is taking a high-speed turn into Hollywood. The home appliance brand announced Monday it will be an official sponsor of the fictional APXGP team in the upcoming “F1” film starring Brad Pitt.
SharkNinja will appear on screen in Joseph Kosinski’s summer tentpole. The film, which features Pitt as a former F1 driver making a comeback alongside Damson Idris’ young phenom, opens internationally June 25 and hits U.S. theaters on June 27 via Warner Bros. Pictures.
To celebrate the partnership, SharkNinja is also launching a limited-edition APXGP Performance Collection — a seven-product lineup reimagined in sleek black-and-gold livery inspired by the film’s race car design. The range includes everything from the Ninja CREAMi ice cream maker to the Shark FlexStyle Air styling system, each designed to highlight the brand’s core identity around speed, precision and power. The full collection will be available on SharkNinja’s website and a variety of other online retailers.
“We’re a company that thrives on high performance, innovation, and disruptive thinking,” said SharkNinja CEO Mark Barrocas. “F1 is the ultimate symbol of pushing boundaries, so this collaboration was a natural extension of our values.”
The sponsorship goes beyond product placement. In addition to its presence within the film’s fictional F1 universe, SharkNinja will activate across digital and broadcast campaigns, including co-branded TV spots airing throughout the summer. The company’s involvement marks a deeper strategy to move from being seen strictly as a functional appliance brand to a cultural player aligned with aspirational storytelling.
