Retro wonderland: Australia’s largest nostalgia festival – in pictures

More than 160,000 people were transported to a bygone era when the Cooly Rocks On festival took over the beachside suburb of Coolangatta on Queensland’s Gold Coast from from 4-8 June 2025. The five-day celebration of music, cars and lifestyle from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s saw a parade of vintage vehicles, pageant contestants, Elvis impersonators and rockabilly bands
