Sun’s out, guns out for Noah Beck, who is the latest actor to join the cast of Fox’s “Baywatch” reboot.

The soccer ball-slinging TikTok star will play the series regular role of Luke, a rookie lifeguard who comes from a family of firefighters. Per the character description, “He’s the ultimate charming SoCal beach boy, a surfer and a flirt, but when it comes to saving lives he’s one of the best. He’s got some growing up to do, and Baywatch is a big part of that, especially his relationship with Hobie who he sees as a mentor and a second father.”

Beck joins an ensemble led by Stephen Amell, who plays Hobie Buchannon, a grown-up version of the wild child from the original series. Jessica Belkin plays his daugher Charlie Vale, Hassie Harrison is Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone is Brad and Brooks Nader is Selene. Original series star David Chokachi returns in the reboot as Cody Madison.

The “Baywatch” reboot will air on Fox sometime during the 2026-2027 broadcast season. A follow-up to the monocultural sensation starring David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, the new iteration is showrun by Matt Nix, who executive produces alongside pilot director McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. Fox and Fremantle co-produce.

Thanks to a $21.1 million California state tax incentive, “Baywatch” will begin shooting this spring in Los Angeles, between Venice Beach and the Fox studio lot in Century City. The series follows Hobie (Amell), who is now a Baywatch captain following in the footsteps of his father, Mitch (played in the original by Hasselhoff). Hobie’s world is turned upside down when the daughter he never knew, Charlie (Belkin) shows up at his door wanting to continue the family legacy.

In February, Fox hosted a massive open casting call for the reboot. Variety attended alongside 2,000 actors auditioning for roles ranging from extras to series regulars.

Beck’s acting credits include “Sidelined” and Danny Ramirez’s upcoming directorial debut “Baton.” He is represented by UTA, Maxwell Mitcheson at Underscore Talent, and Goodman Genow Schenkman Smelkinson + Christopher, LLP.
