As for the movie itself, Variety senior editor Todd Gilchrist praised the film as, “a silly but satisfyingly homicidal series of unfortunate events,” in his review. “Clever, unpredictable and fun, ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ offers the series a transfusion of creativity that virtually guarantees that it will live to kill again.”

In addition, the other movies in the franchise — including “Final Destination,” “Final Destination 2,” “Final Destination 3,” “The Final Destination,” and others — are also streamable on HBO Max.

Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, “Final Destination Bloodlines” follows Stefani (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), a college student who tries to break the cycle of horror and tragedy her family has experienced for decades. She goes to the source to stop the bloody fate that awaits her.

The movie also stars Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, Tony Todd and others.
