Mazel, Bravosphere! As part of a new pact with NBCUniversal, Andy Cohen‘s overall deal with the company has been extended for three years, and his nightly talk show on Bravo “Watch What Happens Live,” has been renewed for two more years.

“After more than 20 years with Bravo, I’m full of intense gratitude that I get to continue living out my dream here,” Cohen said in the announcement. “I’m excited to keep growing our successes across NBCUniversal’s incredible portfolio and, most of all, thankful that I, along with my team, get to keep doing what we love most.” The full press release is included below.

Cohen is a singular figure in the entertainment world. As an executive at Bravo, Cohen began hosting the reunion episodes for the “Real Housewives” franchise, of which he’s an executive producer, which stoked his interest in being a talk show host. As almost an experiment, “Watch What Happens Live” — which features a mixture of Bravo talent and other creatives (many of whom are fans of the network’s programming) — premiered in July 2009. In 2013, Cohen dropped his day-job duties, and in addition to hosting “Watch What Happens Live” nightly, he continues to oversee the “Real Housewives” franchise, hosts the reunions for every Bravo series. In a November 2023 interview with Frances Berwick, NBCU’s entertainment chairman, she told Variety that Cohen “is a very sort of specific and exceptional talent, and he really is the face of the network.”

“Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” is produced by Embassy Row. Michael Davies, Deirdre Connolly, John Jude Schultz and Andy Cohen are executive producers.
